S'mores Brownies

S'mores and brownies come together in this ooey gooey fudgey dessert.

Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 1 ½ cup graham cracker crumbs 9-10 sheets of graham crackers
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter, melted
Brownies
  • 1 cup butter melted
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • tsp baking powder
Topping
  • 1 bag mini marshmallows
  • ½ cup mini chocolate chips

Method
 

Crust
  1. Crush graham crackers finely
  2. Add graham crackers to a bowl. Stir in sugar.
  3. Pour in melted butter and stir until combined.
  4. Press crust into 9 x 13 pan to form an even layer.
Brownies
  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Whisk together 1 cup melted butter and 2 cups sugar.
  3. Once butter is about room temperature, add in eggs and vanilla. Whisk to combine.
  4. Add flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Whisk until you have a cohesive, thick batter.
  5. Spread batter evenly on top of the graham cracker crust.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick or knife comes out clean.
  7. Take brownies out of the oven and top with marshmallows. Try to spread the marshmallows out evenly.
  8. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  9. Turn on broiler function of oven.
  10. Broil for 2 minutes or until marshmallows are just toasted on top.
  11. Allow brownies to cool fully before cutting to allow marshmallow topping to set.
